Thanksgiving!

I never did get any pictures during Thanksgiving time. I was a little stressed for a lot of the time because Logan got a really bad cold. He had a bad cough and was pretty congested with a fever. It started the day before we left for the Kreischer's, but it got really bad on Wednesday so I called the doctor and they wanted us to come in.  They didn't have an opening any earlier than 1:15, so we weren't able to leave as early as we wanted. Luckily, the doctor said his lungs were clear, but he gave us a prescription that might possibly help with the congestion. They said they called the prescription to the pharmacy, so we just had to go there to pick it up. Well, we got there and they pharmacy said they hadn't received anything yet and said that sometimes it just takes some time. I walked around the store while Nate changed Logan's diaper and went home to grab our humidifier. I was getting antsy because Logan hadn't been able to have his second nap since we had to go to the doctor so I really wanted to get on the road so Logan could go to sleep. Well, Nate was back, and they still hadn't called me to the counter. So I went back and asked if there was a another Rite Aid on this street and they said that there was so I said that maybe it was called in to the wrong one. So they had to call that Rite Aid and have them fax the prescription and then they said I would still need to wait because there were some other people ahead of me. That was annoying because I'm pretty sure I was waiting there before those people ever got there. But whatever. So finally, an hour later, I got the prescription and we were on our way.

So to make a long story short, Logan didn't get much sleep,wasn't really eating, and he was recovering from his cold, so I was a worried mother. And he wasn't as happy as he normally is so I felt bad that he would sometimes get fussy when someone would hold him. But other than that, Thanksgiving was great! We went to Mrs. Gibble's Restaurant and had a great meal, we went out for ice cream another day, and pizza another day. We chilled, chatted, and played games. It was nice that we didn't have really packed days so Logan could get his naps in and go to bed at a good time. That helped me not stress so much. I just hope this next trip (Christmas) goes better. We just can't get sick!
