Matthew and Steven read stories. Steven's was the famous "Twas the Night Before Christmas." Then we sang some carols. We then played the right left game. Nancy makes up a story and we all sit in a circle and pass the gifts either right or left when she says one of those words. The adults always have to help the younger kids. Then whatever gift you get at the end, you get to open. Then we do some trading if you get a gift that would be better for a child or whatever. Each of the grandkids got these funny glasses along with something else.
The next morning, the kids (the Gees and Logan) lined up and went in the living room to check out their Santa gifts. It actually took Logan a minute to see his bike, but when he did, he was really excited! He wanted to ride it right away so he rode it around the house a bit. He did that every once in awhile until the weather got better. He also got a little Lightening McQueen chair and some artsy things.
After the kids enjoyed the presents from Santa for a bit, we took turns unwrapping presents from family.
He got lots of fun stuff! And so did we! It was a great Christmas! My favorite thing is spending time with family. After opening presents, we went to the Davis side and spent the rest of Christmas day there. But that will be a different post.
