Logan's 5th Birthday!

On Logan's actual birthday, we just went to Pizza Pie Cafe (his choice) and opened gifts from the family. We gave him a remote control truck and Legos. Then on Saturday the 17th, we did a party. Logan was very involved in the party planning. He chose the theme (Lobsters) and the games. We did an obstacle course and a game where the kids had to crawl on the ground like crabs and grab as much candy as they could. He also wanted to do a dance party, but that didn't end up happening.  We invited all of the cousins his age, all of his primary class, and the little girl who had just moved in 2 houses down. I didn't get any RSVP except one, so I had no idea who was coming. It turned out that everyone came! So it was 13 kids! Crazy! We started at the green space in our complex to do the obstacle course and the crab grab. Then we came back to the house to do snacks, presents, and cake and ice cream. After that, I was going to do the dance party, but the kids just wanted to play downstairs and Logan and I were fine with that.

Logan got a ton of presents since so many kids came. He got a minion stuffed toy, lots of trucks/cars, dinosaurs, dart guns, a sticker book where you put the stickers in certain places to make an animal, a car building kit, a dinosaur building kit,  and a remote control car from Grandma and Grandpa Davis.

About Logan:
He still likes to goof around and make people life. He almost always has a smile on his face. He has gotten into this habit of something (usually a pretty normal thing) and then following it with saying "Is that crazy?" He sometimes uses big words (like specifically), which is funny, coming from a 5 year old. He is very social and has to be playing with someone: whether it is Kylie, mom, dad, or a friend. He can also be quite the chatter box. Sometimes I just wish he could stop talking for just a minute to give me a break! My introverted self gets quite exhausted! But we love him and I am so glad that he is getting better at obeying and not being as physical.
