Life has certainly gotten busy since we got back from our 3 week vacation in Utah for Christmas break. That is the reason why it has been over a month since my last post! And I'm really sorry about that. Hopefully life will settle down, but I'm not sure. I've had a long-term sub job so I have been working everyday and I have the new calling of Primary Music Leader along with my old calling of Activity Days leader and I've also been in charge of teaching a class for a Relief Society meeting and on the committee to plan the Relief Society Visiting Teaching Conference. And I have finally started tutoring! So those are my excuses. I know, those of you with kids will think this is nothing, but it's a lot for me!
But as for Christmas, it was a blast! We flew to Utah on the 15th of December and my mom picked us up at the airport. After that, we were busy driving around Utah to see family and friends. We really did have a great time seeing everyone, eating good food, and enjoying good company. We went to Temple Square with my family, a park with animals made of lights in Layton with Nate's family, bowling on different days with both families, Christmas Eve with Nate's family, and Christmas day with both! We went to Provo to see some of our good friends who still live there and ate with them at Cafe Rio, then we went to Layton to see my friends who live up there and ate at 5 Guys. We enjoyed New Year's with Nate's family playing games and watching a movie. I forgot to bring my camera to a lot of things, but I'll post the pictures that I have!

ReplyDeleteSo those are your excuses?? Pretty lame. No just kidding! You do sound busy! And we miss you already!!
ReplyDeleteHey, at least you're busy with good things! And the long term sub job is great for many reasons. Just consider this preparation for when you do have kids + all kinds of responsibilities. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had fun in Utah, and I'm glad we got to Skype for a little while on Christmas Day.
