Happy Birthday Nate!

I'm not doing so well on blogging lately since this happened about a month ago! January 20th was Nate's 27th birthday. Since we had already gone on our train ride, we had to keep things cheap for his birthday. So I made him his favorite dinner (lasagna) with our favorite dessert (his mom's chocolate syrup cake). He opened his one gift from me which was the old karate kid, a Wal-mart special :) We then watched the movie and just enjoyed our time together.

To follow the tradition of Birthdays, I want to share 10 things that I love about Nate (not in any particular order and there are plenty more)

1. Dependability: Ever since the beginning of our dating, he has always kept his word. He always called when he said he would and always showed up on time (some past boyfriends had issues with this). But he was also dependable in work, callings, anything he said he would do, he would get it done.
2. Worthy Priesthood holder: He's always ready to give a blessing and do his priesthood duties, even spur of the moment.
3. Goofiness: He's not afraid to do something goofy or unexpected to make me laugh!
4. Tease: We can tease each other without hurting any feelings cause we know how much we really mean to each other.
5. Cherish: I love how much he cherishes me and is always showing me how much he loves and appreciates me for the little things I do.
6. Hair: I love his curly hair and how I can run my fingers through it.
7. Time: I love how he always wants to spend as much time as he can with me. He never gets bored of me! He gets all sad if I have to go somewhere in the evening (when we should be together) for my callings. 
8. Compatible: I love how perfectly we fit with each other. We don't have to be constantly talking to enjoy each others' company. But we are also perfectly comfortable to tell each other about every little thing.
9. Kids: I love how good he is with kids. I can tell he'll be a great father! As long as he doesn't spoil too much!
10. Money manager: He's good at managing money. He doesn't spend money on things he doesn't need, but he's not so frugal that he won't talk me into going out to eat or to the movies every once in awhile for some fun. I'm definitely more frugal than he is, so it's good he can convince me to "splurge" a bit every once in awhile otherwise we wouldn't enjoy being someplace we might never come back to! (Ohio)

There are many other things that are wonderful about Nate, but it would take all day to write it! He's such a great husband and I'm so lucky to be married to him! I love you!
