Indians Game

In July, we got tickets again to go to another Indians game. Lifehouse was going to perform after the game, so I was really excited! I love the band Lifehouse! They are one of my favorites! So we ate at Burger King, then it took awhile for us to find some parking. We finally did and walked over to the stadium. We thought we were late, but when we got there, the field looked like this:

and the game still hadn't started because it was slightly raining and I guess lightning was in the forecast. We waited...and while we were waiting we played Farkle on Nate's Ipod touch and the rain was touch and go.

After 2 or more hours, they cancelled the game. At this point it was really pouring. And they said that Lifehouse would instead play at the game tomorrow. Well, "tomorrow" was Sunday. We didn't feel like going to a baseball game and watching Lifehouse would be keeping the Sabbath, so we didn't go. I was so sad. I had been looking forward to that all week. But oh well. We ended up listening to all of our Lifehouse songs on the drive home!

This was before we got wet, still in the stadium. Luckily we were high enough that we had a roof over us!

The walk back to our car after the game left us absolutely soaked! It was crazy! Too bad I didn't get a picture of that. But I wasn't in the best mood, ha ha!
