4th of July!

I am so behind! Let's see if I can even remember our day! We were going to do something with a couple, the husband is in law school with Nate, but ended up going to their house a couple of days earlier for some ribs, which were really good. It was kind of an early celebration.

So the 4th of July was spent with just the two of us. And I must say that is the smallest group I've ever celebrated the independence of our country with! But we had fun. We relaxed in the morning (maybe even cleaned or something) then went to Akron for the Rib White and Blue festival. There were lots of different stands with their world famous ribs and sauces. We finally decided on one and found a spot on the grass to eat and listen to a couple of bands play and the Akron Symphony. (At least, I think it was the Akron Symphony.)

When it got dark, they did fireworks to music and it was great! I just love fireworks! And these were very well done. It may not have been the most exciting or busy 4th, but we had fun just being together!
