Swimming!

We have a little pool at our complex and I've been really excited for the weather to warm up enough so we could use it. Logan loves to splash in the bath tub so I wanted to see if he would like the pool. So a couple of weeks before Memorial Day, we got all dressed and sunscreened up and headed to the pool, and it was closed! We thought maybe our gym key would open it, so Nate walked all the way back to our house to get that, and it didn't work. So then I walked to the office and she was out. So we decided we might as well just go back home. Once we got home, I emailed the office lady to see what the deal was, it turns out they don't officially open the pool until after Memorial Day! So I felt a little dumb. But I also thought it was strange that they had taken the cover off weeks before and they had a guy come clean it every day, but it wasn't even open! Waste of money, in my opinion.

So we waited a couple more weeks, then the Thursday after Memorial Day (May 30th), we were finally able to go to the pool! It was a nice, warm day and there were quite a few people there. But most of them were just sunbathing. When we got in the pool, we found out why! It was cold! Totally took my breath away. Poor Logan was trying to catch his breath and looked really worried! But after we were in there for a bit, we all got more used to it and started splashing around.

 When I first took out the camera, there was black cracks on the screen! I was worried that it would show up in the pictures, but it turns out it's just the view screen that is cracked. I guess that's what happens when Logan gets a hold of it.

After we "swam" for a bit, we let Logan crawl around on the grass. It was a little thicker there than it is in our shared backyard. He seemed to enjoy exploring!
