Thanksgiving

This was our last year going to the Kreischers for Thanksgiving. It was bitter sweet. Sweet because the next one we will be with more family but bitter because we won't be with the Kreischers and they will only have 4 of them, if you count Jacob.

The weather was bad on Wednesday, so we left a bit later than we had planned. Because of that, we basically went in between storms, which was perfect! There were only a few moments of bad roads and they weren't even that bad. So that night we just hung out together and Logan was loving the attention. Especially from Jacob. Jacob definitely became Logan's favorite. He followed him practically everywhere he went! It was cute. Jacob was really sweet to allow it and to play with him so much. It gave us a bit of a break!

 

Thursday we went to Golden Coral for the Thanksgiving meal. We usually go to Mrs. Gibbles but since they weren't sure whether Alyssa would have to work or not, they weren't able to get reservations there, and you have to get them really early. That evening we played Scattergories.

On Friday we did a little bit of Black Friday shopping (we didn't leave extra early or anything) and went to CiCi's for lunch and stuffed ourselves again. That evening we watched Monsters University.

On Saturday we went to Mikey's to get ice cream (even though it was freezing outside!) It was good. Jeb & Brent, and Nate and I had a rematch with Foosball and unfortunately, we lost this time. Best of 3. But in our defense, we hadn't played since before Logan was born. Then we switched up the teams and did the young ones against the old ones (Brent and I against Nate & Jeb). I think we just each won a game.

It was a great Thanksgiving and we will miss them for next year at Thanksgiving!
