The Garrison's Come!

The Garrison's came to town June 21st and already scheduled to have Tyler receive his endowment the next evening. I made sure to go to Grandma and Grandpa Summers' house pretty much all day so Kylie could get used to Shannon since Shannon was going to come to our house to babysit our kids while we went to the temple. It was an evening one so she had to put Kylie to bed too. The last time Shannon had babysat Kylie, Kylie had refused to drink her bottle and threw a fit if she ever tried. So we were hoping things would go better this time. She can be a bit shy. But thankfully they did go better. Logan was also a good helper for Shannon. It might've helped that it was only Logan and Kylie and that it was at our house. That might've helped her be a bit calmer.  But it was really neat to see my first nephew receive his endowment. He was a bit nervous about it but it he also said it was cool afterward. And the other really cool thing was that there was another young man there with the last name of Garrison receiving his endowments and it turned out to be some sort of relation. I can't remember exactly what it was, some sort of a cousin I think.

Thursday and Friday we mostly hung out at the Summers' and allowed the kids to play. Grandma pulled out the pool and slip n slide and even Tyler got into it, which the kids loved! You can tell they all just really look up to him. Except Kylie. She cries anytime Tyler looks at her! ha ha!

Saturday we went to Salt Lake City and went to the Church History Museum and Joseph Smith Memorial building. Both places have little play areas for the kids so they had a lot of fun. The play area at the Joseph Smith Memorial building was new. They had an area for playing house, and trains, and some things to color and draw. I guess it's technically a waiting area for the new Family History area. But it looked like you needed a reservation, so we came back and did that part with the Phelon's instead. After that we went to City Creek to eat then we went back home.

I did Kylie's hair in a pony tail for the first time on the Salt Lake day. So cute! Unfortunately it fell out later.

Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures!
