Great Uncle Harry's Pond

While Nate's family was here, the Davis side of my family had a reunion at my Great Uncle Harry's Pond. It had been may years since I had been there and it might be the last year because his children are thinking about selling it. We used to go there almost every year for reunions when I was little, so it was good to see it. For the most part, it was all the same. There were only a few changes. No more paddle boats, they were broken, and a lot of kayaks and paddle boards. I was bummed about the paddle boats because they were my favorite thing as a kid, but we still enjoyed taking the kids out on the kayaks and even went out all together in a canoe thing. And the huge treehouse was still there and in good shape. And we all enjoyed spending time with parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles we hadn't seen in awhile.

Tiffany brought water guns and they were a hit

Grandma and Grandpa

I wasn't sure how this girl would like it, but she was totally a water baby!
The last day, we went on a scavenger hunt to find places my grandparents had lived, been to school, etc. when they were younger. We also went to a couple of cemeteries and saw grave sites for many ancestors. It was really interesting and I enjoyed learning more about my family. We ended up at Salem pond and had a nice catered dinner. I seem to remember not feeling very well that day. I think a cold was starting or something. But it was still nice and Salem pond is beautiful.
