Pioneer Day and 7th Anniversary!

For the 24th of July (on Monday), Bowman's (our local grocery store) had a fun party. They had a pancake breakfast in the morning, then at lunch time they had hot dogs, bounce houses, and cotton candy so we went back for that. After Kylie's nap, we went to the Summers' so the kids could play in the water. Grandma always has a blow up pool and a slip n' slide that they love to play in. Then we had a traditional burgers and hot dogs dinner. And finally, we did fireworks. We brought over the rest of the fireworks that we hadn't used yet and the Cederlofs brought some sparklers. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun.

Then on Friday of that week, we had a Summers family reunion at a park. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground.

Then Saturday was our anniversary! 7 years! It some ways it seems like we have always been together but in other ways, it seems to have gone so fast! We really have been through a lot together and he knows me better than anyone else and still loves me despite that! And he still loves me even though I am not as skinny and fit as I used to be. He is such a great friend and I am just so glad we are married!
Anyway for our anniversary, we dropped the kids off at my parent's house, then went to see Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Hale Center Theater. It was a really fun show to watch. Lots of modern touches in it. After the show, we went to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. (We were actually planning on going to Texas Roadhouse, I think, but the parking lot was completely full). It was really yummy!
