Ehthan's First Taste of Solids!

On the Wednesday before Kylie's party, we decided to try to give Ethan some rice cereal for the first time. He was not a fan! ha ha! It was all tears, even though I mixed it with formula so it shouldn't have tasted very different. I guess it was the texture. My mom was there to hold him and Logan took the pictures.

Poor boy. Looks like he's been through the wringer.

We tried again on the day of Kylie's Birthday with the same results.

Then we tried again about a week later, this time with some sweet potatoes. I was hoping the sweet potatoes would help him with the flavor or the texture. He still hated it. I was kind of at a loss. None of my kids had ever been picky this young. They got picky when they were older!

I waited another couple of weeks and tried to give him pears, which my other kids LOVED and he still hated it! So I gave up for a bit.
