Later that week, Nate and I felt queasy but we never actually threw up so we just continued going to work, Logan's soccer game, and Arctic Circle with Nate's family. Shannon was here for the night to catch a plane the next day to go back home. She finished her first 2 semesters of college! So we all got together to see her.
The next week, after Logan's Saturday soccer game, we took a trip to Farmington Station where we went to Baked Bear for some yummy ice cream-cookie sandwiches, allowed the kids to play at the park, and watched the fountains dance to music. We try to do something fun each weekend to make memories with the kids. This was a simple event, but I think everyone had fun.
Nate also had his first court of honor as an adult and with the calling of Scout Committee Chair (I think that's what it is?) With so few scouts, it is hard to get a ton of scout participation at these events, especially for those not getting awards and not interested in scouts anymore. But we did have five rank advancements even though only two of the boys showed up.
I lost my phone on a field trip to Thanksgiving Point Curiosity Museum. This is the second time in the last month I lost my phone! This time it appears as though it is for good because I am pretty sure I left it on the bus. I called the district and they talked to the bus driver, but no one had seen it. I bought a new phone the next day. It is hard to get by in this day and age without a phone. I got a Samsung which is a first as far as smartphones goes for either of us. I decided to get a case that is like a wallet so that I would be less likely to misplace it. It has worked so far! At first, it seemed to be a good phone, but I now know it has some weird quirks. It shuts off sometimes without any reason and I have to push the power button a couple of times to get to the screen to unlock the phone. But whatever. Then a few days later, I get this call from someone and he leaves a message saying he found a phone on the bus that had this number on the screen. He is a high school teacher and was on a field trip and found it. So I went to Syracuse high school to pick up my old phone. Now I have 2 pretty decent phones. I guess I will have a good back up now if I ever lose it again!
Despite the terrible ending with losing my phone, the Museum was a fun Field trip and I kept thinking how I want to take my own kids there. There was so much to do! My kids could easily spend all day there! And my 2nd graders certainly enjoyed it! I always worry if Peyton will run off or hurt someone, so I made sure to put him in a group with only 3 kids and a mom who could stand her ground. I even pulled her aside before hand that I felt like she would be good for him, but I gave her my number just in case. She said he was fine!

Ethan can hold his bottle by himself! (But he doesn't do it very often)

Ethan turned 6 months old at the end of April. His biggest accomplishment is learning how to sit by himself! He slobbers a lot like Logan did and he is an extremely picky eater. He is very smiley but is starting to get that separation anxiety. He does not like schedules. Every time I think I have one figured out for him for naps, he decides to change it! He is such a cutie though! We love having him in our family!
