Father's Day was the Sunday after Logan's birthday. We gave Nate breakfast in bed. I honestly can't remember what we gave him. But he did take a picture of the card we gave him.
We think he is our hero! Saving the day! I know life would be so much harder without him! I won't get all mushy, but I love him more everyday and appreciate what a good dad he is!
As a continuation of the Davis side Family Reunion, we went to Lagoon! We left Ethan with Nate's parents so that we could enjoy ourselves more. We knew Ethan wouldn't be very brave. (He freaks out just riding Merry-go-Rounds with me holding him the whole time!)
We got there a tiny bit later than everyone else because we parked for free at Farmington station and took the shuttle over there, so we mostly did things on our own. And we mostly just did rides the kids could do. But they love roller coasters! Especially Kylie! The only "big" rollercoaster she was tall enough to ride was Bombora and she wanted to do it over and over again! And she talked about it for months afterward! Logan's favorite was the Wild Mouse.
We did somehow meet up with my family on the Log Flume, Rattlesnake Rapids, and the Train. It was tons of fun!
That weekend, we did one-on-ones. I took Kylie to the Treehouse Museum, and Nate took Logan to Boondocks.
That Sunday was my parent's mission farewell at their church, so we went to that. They are less than a month away from leaving for their mission in Melbourne. They did a really good job! They had a luncheon at their house afterwards. We did have a tragedy when Ethan lost his "Doggie" security blanket at the church. We tried going back to find it, but no luck. We had to get him a new one. He relies on it to fall asleep at night.
