Patterson's Come and Logan's Birthday Party!

After my training, the Patterson's came to stay with us for a couple of nights. We went to the Great Salt Lake Shoreland Preserve and saw some fun birds. Then we went to Surf-n-Swim. They had remembered it from the last time they had come and really wanted to go. I didn't get any pictures of either activity! That evening, we all went to Logan's baseball game. I think Logan enjoyed having extra people to cheer him on!

Thursday was picture day and Logan's last game. But during pictures, it started thundering and lightening, so his last game was cancelled. It was kind of a lame season.

Friday was Logan's birthday! Nate's parents took him to Pizza Pie Cafe all by himself and he loved that! He also opened his family presents.

He got a watch! He was really wanting them

I went to a reception that night for Eric Smith (Tamara Smith's brother). Tiffany was invited and didn't want to go by herself. It was fun to see their family. It had been a long time!

Saturday was Logan's Birthday Party. It was army themed. We went to a park. They started by making binoculars. Then they had a battle with nerf guns (and had kids bring their own). I supplied a bunch of darts. I had a few boxes set up as well to hide behind. Most of the kids seemed to love it but one little girl in our ward said she doesn't like guns and sat out. They also ate cupcakes, opened presents, then played on the playground until parents came to pick them up.
