4th of July 2019

A couple of days before the 4th, Nate and Logan went to Utah Summer League to see the Jazz rookies trying to make the team. They met Tyler there. Apparently Logan got bored during it, but Nate had a lot of fun. I started getting sick that night so Nate decided to stay home the next day.

While he was home with the kids, he took them to the free movie at Kaysville Theater. They met the Gees and Cederlofs there. It was Peter Rabbit.

The real bummer of the day was we were planning on having a cookout with my family for the Fourth of July, but when Kristy found out I was sick, she told us we couldn't come. Luckily they were all coming up to Kaysville for the parade in the morning and a picnic at the park. The parade was fun and we had a good spot with enough room. The bummer though was that someone stole my Mexican blanket that I had set out to save our spot. I was pretty upset about that.

This was the day before when we set out the blankets. The next day, it was gone.

At the park, Kristy noticed that I was doing just fine at that point, but we had already made a back-up plan of spending the rest of the day with Nate's family.

Ethan stacking books at Grandma's. I thought it was cute!

Nate took both Kylie and Logan to the fireworks at night. I stayed home so Ethan could go to bed. Nate said it rained during the whole fireworks show and the show was late starting so they all got wet. Taking wet, heavy blankets to the car also was not fun for Nate, but he made it! And the kids seemed to enjoy the fireworks despite the rain.
