We have a Blog!

The sun was obviously bright. Look at the kids!
We started a blog since we moved hundreds of miles away and everyone was pressing me about it. I can't say that I will be very faithful at it, but I will do it! And I'm going to start slow since I'm still in the process of unpacking and applying for jobs. So to start with, we had a gorgeous wedding at the Salt Lake Temple where the sealer gave some great advice and we were sealed together for time and eternity! I'm so excited to be married to Nate forever! After the pictures on Temple Square which my sister Missy took...

Then we went to the luncheon at a reception center in Bountiful called the Wight House. The food was delicious, the company fantastic, and decor beautiful. Nate's and my dad introduced the families and gave little speeches, and the families were able to sign the book early so they could say what they really wanted to say and not be rushed.

Then there was a short break and families went their separate ways to relax and get ready for the reception! During this time, it rained! And we were planning on having the reception outside in the Lion House courtyard, so I was a little worried. But it cleared up and ended up being absolutely beautiful weather! We got some beautiful pictures taken there with the wedding party in their yellow red. And then the people started coming. I was actually surprised by how fast the time flew and how fun it really was to see everyone and talk to them for a moment. I've never been excited about the line part, but I actually had a really good time! Then we did the cake cutting (I forgot for a second that we were suppose to feed each other the cake and the same time!) We did some shoving in the face, but not too much. The bouquet toss was great! There was some boxing out. My cousin got it who's missionary was coming home in a month (who is now home:) The garter toss was even better! Then we changed our clothes...

And we were off to our Honeymoon!!!

  7. Love your blog! And I'll be following it, too. One thing I love about blogs better than Facebook is the ability to explain more and journal more.
    Welcome to the blogosphere.

  8. I'm glad you started a blog. It's a great way to record all the things you'll want to remember in years to come. It will be great to be able to know what is going on in your lives, since we live so far apart.

  9. Well, well, well. Look at you joining the world of blogging. That's great! Calling is great too. I must say that when I walked past the Lion House gardens yesterday and I started getting a little emotional and missing you, it was so nice to be able to just pick up my cell phone and call you. You're still just a phone call away! I love your pictures and your blog!

  10. Oh, and I love the title Summer's Here! Too cute! Add an apostrophe for the double meaning!

  11. Forget the apostrophe. You probably just want it to be plural. Duh!

  12. Oh Mom I love you! We do want it to be plural! And I'll definitely still call people. And thanks everyone for the comments! It's fun to read them!
