It's been awhile since my last post! It's gotten busy with work, the washing machine not working, (it wasn't spinning so the clothes came out soaked and therefore did not get dry. But it's coin-op so I didn't want to spend more to dry them more), ward activity, primary activity coming up, missionaries for dinner, and other social activities. But anyway, not last Saturday but the Saturday before, Nate had a law school kickball tournament as a fundraiser in Akron, so we decided to stay up in Akron for a few more hours to check out the Cuyahoga Falls National Park. We thought this would be the perfect time with all the leaves changing colors. And it was really pretty! But I think we were about a week late because more leaves were on the ground than in the trees. Anyway this park basically has a ton of "hiking" (walking) trails and biking trails. And a train that goes sometimes. And its admission is free! So Nate and I went on a little hike around a lake, and then part of the main trail that runs by a river. I put hiking in quotations earlier because it is basically like a stroll in a park on flat ground. There are barely any hills and nothing that could be considered "hiking" in Utah terms. But we had fun strolling in the romantic autumn setting and exploring a bit more of Ohio.

So I told Nate to pose on the fence...

| And this is what he did! So funny! I love it! |
Love the fall colors! Looks like a nice "hike". :)
ReplyDeleteNow how do people do the captions under their pictures? I guess I need to figure that out.
The colors are gorgeous!! Nate is showing a side I have never seen before! :) It's fun to get to know my cousin more through you
ReplyDeleteFunny, funny Nate! The park sounds like it was lots of fun. It is nice to be able to take time to enjoy our beautiful country!
