I'm finally posting pictures of our little apartment. It took me awhile to get everything unpacked, pictures hung up, and to find a spot for everything in this tiny place while applying for jobs and working on getting my Ohio teaching license, but I finally finished it! And thanks to everyone who contributed to making this house a home by giving us gifts! We live at the end of a street in an apartment complex, so it's nice and quiet. We do live in the bottom floor, basically a basement, so it's getting a bit chilly these days and we don't always get the best cell phone service, but we really like it. We are renting the furniture, except for the bookshelves, TV stand, and desk. Those were our first pieces of furniture! But here it is! What you've all been waiting for!

ReplyDeleteI love how you are using the box of tools as an end table. :) We did that with a storage tote filled with my scrapbook stuff when we were in an apt. We just put a tablecloth over it! It worked great!

I just checked my hotmail email and saw your email about your blog from about a month ago! ha ha I only check that email every couple of months but I am glad I do because every once in a while I get good emails in there still:) I'm excited you have a blog so we can stay in touch with each other that way.
