| The Santa Maria |
The next day, after our Cleveland trip, we went to the temple and decided to do some exploring in Columbus. Before we left, we Googled some cheap things to do and decided to go to a replica of the Santa Maria that Christopher Columbus sailed in. The boat is sitting in the river and it's a museum where they do tours. Well, when we got there, the water was really high from all the rain that we've been having! I assume that there is normally a sidewalk with grassy areas so you can walk around the river, but it was covered with water!

So the boat was closed, but we were still able to see the outside of it. Apparently, when it's going, you can reserve it for a group to spend an entire evening and night on it out in the river and learn how to man it just like they would have had to do in Columbus's time!
We also just walked around downtown Columbus for a bit. It really is a beautiful city so we enjoyed it!
