Utah Part 1

When we got to Utah, we first spent some time with Nate's family. We were able to do some relaxing and get Logan napping regularly again, so that was good. I don't think he ever really got used to the 3 hour time difference that happened when we traveled to the Northwest, but it didn't take long for him to get used to Utah time. We had to do some last minute shopping because we didn't want to have to pack a bunch of presents, so we braved the craziness of the weekend before Christmas shopping. It actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting and we got everything we needed by going to 3 stores.
Throughout the time that we spent there, Debbie's family and Cindy's family came over every day so we got to spend a lot of time chatting and playing games. We also went to Grandma Hill's to chat with her and introduce Logan to her.
One evening, we went to see the lights at a park. We've done this before and it always amazes me at how many lights they have! And it's really fun for the kids because most of them are of animals and some of them look like the animal is actually moving. It was good weather too. It was cold, but when bundled up, you didn't even notice.
Logan was tired, but I think the problem is the flash!

Logan also had his first haircut! After Grandpa Summers cut all the Gee kids' hair and Nate's, he did his best at trimming Logan's hair despite the moving target. Nate tried to hold Logan's head still, but you can only do some much with a 6 month old. So it was mostly just trimmed around his ears. But at least he is now obeying the BYU Honor Code:) I kept some of the hair and put it in a plastic bag as a keepsake. I always loved looking at my hair from my first haircut in my baby book.
Logan seems to be wondering what's going on
He's ok with it now

I will do the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on another post.
