Independence Day Weekend

It was a busy, but fun day. We started out waking up early to go to the Kaysville City pancake breakfast. They have it every year and a lot of the Hill family (Grandma Summers' side of the family) go to it. It was yummy and fun to see people.

Everyone else stayed to watch the parade, but it didn't start until 11, which was too late for us, so we headed out to Tooele to spend the rest of the weekend with my family. Angie and her family were there, so it was important to spend as much time as we could! Poor Missy was way sick. She got a high fever and we were a bit worried for the baby since she is pregnant, but she called her doctor and he didn't seem worried. The rest of us played games and ate good food.

When we first got there, almost everyone was at the Tooele parade, but we figured it was almost over since we didn't want to try to find them. And it wasn't too long until people started coming home and the kids had all their candy from the parade. So yeah, after that we played games and ate food. Grandpa bought a bunch of fireworks (more than he ever bought when we were little!) and we watched the fireworks. We kept Logan up because I figured he would enjoy it and he did. And one late night isn't a big deal.

The group (Nate was there, I just missed his picture I guess)

After the family fireworks, we put Logan to bed, but the older kids went up on the roof to watch fireworks around the neighborhood.

The next day we went to the church and played Volleyball. The little ones played in the nursery and Grandma Davis watched them for awhile until I traded with her. It was fun to get out and do something a little physical.

The next day was Sunday and we just went to church then went home. It was really fun to be with family!
