Our 4th Anniversary

For our 4th Anniversary, we wanted to actually do something since we really haven't been able to yet. So we made reservations for a night at the Anniversary Inn. We decided to get the Train Room. It was so fun! The bathtub/shower were in a tunnel. The bathtub was a big one with jets. We actually didn't know there was a shower at first. It came down from the ceiling, kind of like rain and was a bit hidden. But we were reading comments left by others who had used the room and eventually found it. The toilet room was small, just like it would be in a train. There were fake windows that were painted to make it look like you were looking outside, and there was a bench seat that looked like one you would see in a train. It was really fun.

So for our evening, we went to Moochies for dinner (not a nice restaurant, but it was on Diner's, Drive-ins, and Dives). They had really good sub sandwiches. Especially the meatball sandwich. Plus we didn't want to spend a lot of money on dinner since we spent so much on the room.

Then we went to the room, ate the cheesecake that came with the room, and watched a movie. In the morning, they delivered breakfast to our room that were basically like large pastries and fruit cups. It was good and I just loved being together, almost like we were newly weds without kids. It was the first time I had ever been away from Logan overnight. I know, crazy. But it's true. I was a little worried I would miss him, but I was fine. I didn't take pictures.

I think we did do some shopping on our way home as well, just taking advantage of being childless.
