On June 24th (Tuesday), Missy was heading out to Girl's Camp so I watched her kids for the day. My mom watched them the rest of the week. The kids had a fun time playing. I must say, it's nice to have some older kids that can take care of themselves and help out with the little ones. It really didn't seem to be much harder to watch those four extra kids. And Logan and Easton played together really well for most of the time. They played with cars a lot. Sadie was dying to take her bike out so I finally agreed. At first, Logan and Easton were fighting over who got to ride in the car pictured below, but pretty soon Easton decided it was really fun to push Logan in it. He pushed him all the way to a little green area where there are some horses and around the track there and all the way back. I was very impressed! Such a trooper! He was trying to race Sadie at times, which frustrated him. I tried to explain that being on a bike and pushing a car were very different things so Sadie would always win!

| I rarely see my baby sleeping since he almost wakes up when I walk in his room so I thought this was really sweet. I just can't remember where he is. |
The next day, Nate wasn't working (which seemed/seems to become more and more common) so we decided to visit my Grandma. She seemed to be really tired and it was a bit difficult to carry on a conversation, but I think she enjoyed that we were there.
Then on Thursday, we went to the free movie that they do weekly for kids during the summer. It was Madagascar. It was Logan's first movie. He definitely started getting bored about half way through, but I think it's good practice for him.
Nate and I also played some tennis a couple of times in June. It's always hard to find an open court, but we enjoy playing when we can.
We took Logan on his first real hike. We had taken him in Ohio, but this one was without a carrier. We just wanted to see how well he would do. Well, he wanted to be carried most of the walk up, but he finally wanted to walk on the way down. The reverse of what I was thinking. We just went on a trail nearby and walked as long as we wanted, then turned around and came back. But it was nice to enjoy the Utah mountains again.

On Saturday the 28th, we went to a big Summers' Family Reunion at a park in Orem. This is the kind that great aunts and uncles come to along with all of their posterity. So I really didn't know very many people and Nate didn't know a lot of people either, but we conversed with those we know and/or I got to know people I didn't know, and Logan played on the playground with cousins. We also threw a Frisbee around a bit.
Thanks again for watching my kids! It was nice to know they were in good hands.
