Easter!

A few days before Easter, Logan and I dyed Easter eggs while Kylie was napping and Daddy was at work. Logan did a great job this year and I think we only cracked one.

He is such a goof ball! Normally it puts a smile on my face (like these pictures), but sometimes it drives me crazy! But we love him!

We did Easter weekend at Nate's parents this year because the next week was General Conference and we went to my parents for that. But that will be on the next post. The Gees were visiting family in the northwest so they weren't there. We did an Easter egg hunt in their backyard. Kylie had already been introduced to plastic eggs so she knew she liked them (to open them), but she didn't get the concept of trying to find them. And Nancy likes to just throw candy on the ground for the kids to just pick up so Kylie would pick one up and want to eat it right away. Logan did a pretty good job of finding eggs this year though.

That evening was Women's Conference, so we went out to eat, then Annika, Nancy, and I (Cindy and Nate went to a Symphony because they bought the tickets before knowing about Women's Conference) went to the conference at the church. Nate took the kids back to his parents so they could play with Jillian. It was really good and talked a lot about serving others, especially refugees.

The next day was Easter Sunday. We hid Logan and Kylie's Easter baskets (Kylie's was "hidden" in plain sight). We filled them with pajamas, candy, and other fun snacks.

That day in church, I was walking around with Kylie and saw Logan in the hall with his teacher. So I asked what was going on and he didn't want to be in primary. He just kept wanting to come out to get a drink all the time. So the teacher was staying out in the hall with him until he was ready to go back in and behave. But I just decided to take him and we went out to the car and I strapped him in his carseat and told him he had to stay there until he was ready to go to primary. Well, he never wanted to go back in. So he spent it all in his car seat. I was worried he would want to do it again the next time, but we had General Conference in between and he's been fine about going ever since. It was just some weird thing because most of the time, his teachers say he does a good job.

That evening we had an Easter dinner at Nancy's with Ham, potatoes, and deviled eggs. It was yummy!
