Last Week of the Phelons

The last week the Phelon's were here was pretty crazy. I was back to school preparing for the new year and going to trainings, meetings, etc. But on Tuesday, the 15th, we went to Boondocks as kind of a birthday party for Kenyon and just for fun. Logan absolutely loves Boondocks, especially the arcade games, so he was in heaven. I just bought a pass for Kylie to play in the Kiddie play area and she loved that! I can also usually get away with her "playing" arcade games without actually putting money in. But Logan likes to play for reals. For dinner, we went to Pace's (where Nate met us) then we went to the Summers' for presents and ice cream pie.

Saturday we went to the fair even though no one else came. Our kids loved it! We bought a few tickets so they could ride some rides and of course, we did all the free stuff: coloring wall, pirate ship playground (they really loved this!), saw sea lions, a kids activity tent, petting zoo, and pony rides! It was so hot, but it was fun! Instead of eating the expensive food there for dinner, we went to Burger King afterwards.

The Kids Activity Tent. I love how Kylie is just dropping the bean bag into the hole (pictured below).

Logan and Kylie on this ship spinning ride. It is so hard to get good pictures so they go around so fast and because they have that gate in the way!

Daddy and Logan went down this huge slide together!

That evening, Nate went back to the Summers' to play games with his sisters. He never gets to spend as much time with them as I do since he works so I am glad he was able to do that at least.

Nate's Aunt Linda passed away. She hadn't been in good health for a long time, but it's always hard when it does happen. His Uncle Rod was so heart broken. You could tell they had a very good marriage. They actually eloped while still in high school, but it all worked out!
