My Birthday!

On Monday at Nate's work, they had their quarterly birthday party. They went miniature golfing. Beforehand, they went to JCWs to get some burgers and shakes. The course was nice. Nate ended up tying for first overall with Keith the head honcho. It may have helped that he went miniature golfing with Logan about a week before that.

Kylie dancing and singing to the dinosaur toy.  "It's fun to eat healthy treats! I'm hungry."

Logan and Nate went to a school activity on Thursday that was a Watch DOG kickoff party. The school plugged the Watch D.O.G.s program where dad's sign up for a day (or more) where they volunteer at the school. They spend part of the time in their child's class and part of their time in other classes or helping out with other activities. I signed up for a day in February because I feel like life will have calmed down a bit by then. We are just over a month away from the baby's due date! I figure by February we should have things back under control.

We bought Logan an skeleton costume and he put the gloves on then wanted me to take a picture.

Kylie's chalk drawing. She's starting to do heads, eyes, and bodies! So fun!
Yesterday I turned 32! Every year it's just weird to me how old I am getting. We had a pretty fun day. Logan had a soccer game in the morning. He had been a bit sick Friday and Saturday so he was a bit lethargic but I think he still had fun. He only has one more game left this fall and then it will start up again in the spring.

Took a baby bump picture on my birthday. I was about 34 weeks.
We didn't do a whole lot during the day. We did presents right after the game. I got a curling iron wand, a funnel, and a liquid measuring cup. Then Nate made chocolate syrup cake, our tradition. We had cake and ice cream after lunch.
In the evening we went on a date. We dropped the kids off at the Summers' at 5 and then went to Chili's. We had a waiter that had us trying all of these mixtures of lemonades like pomegranate-watermelon and mango-strawberry. Then he gave us take home cups. He was a great waiter! After Chili's we saw a movie called Victoria and Abdul about a friendship that was struck between Queen Victoria and a Muslim man named Abdul. It was based on journals of Adbuls that were found in 2010. It was pretty good but not one I care to see again. Then we came back and got Kylie out of bed (Logan was just in the office watching TV because he probably wouldn't have gone to bed very well) and brought the kids home and put them to bed.
