Monday, November 27th, we decorated the Christmas tree! My mom came as well just to help out a bit. I'm still in recovery mode and need to rest as much as possible. It was fun to have her there for that family event.
November 30th (I guess?) was Ethan's 1 month birthday!
Ethan is still a terrible sleeper and is often ornery when he is awake (probably because he isn't sleeping well enough!) He's just not the easiest baby. I started this thing where after I put him down, I let him cry for 5 minutes, then I go to rub his face, then let him cry for 10 min, and so on. Sometimes it gets to 20 minutes before he finally falls asleep. I just feel like he is too young still to just let him "cry it out." I do feel like I am more patient this time around. With Logan, I was so exhausted and frustrated that he wasn't sleeping. But this time around, I've been through it before and I know that he will sleep through the night at some point. He is a cutie though and getting big fast! He's almost grown out of his newborn clothes! He still scratches his face if I forget to put the mittens on his hands, so those are still on all the time.

| Holding a bottle by himself! (of course, he didn't do again, it was just by chance) |

| Tummy time again! |

| Kylie certainly loves her little brother! |

| Another cute outfit. Debbie got the same one for Weston! |

| The kids gave him a few too many toys. |

We had our Ward Christmas Party on Saturday the 2nd. I didn't go because I was having some baby blues and just couldn't stand the thought of going to a social event. I don't think I get post partum depression, but I definitely get moments of the baby blues and this was one of them. I even had thoughts sometimes during the beginning months of Ethan's life of just wanting to run away for a few days, but of course, I never did. So Nate took the other 2 kids while I stayed home with Ethan. They had a breakfast with a waffle bar and breakfast casseroles. Brother Craven gave a little "Light the World" themed message, which I am sure was good because he is a good speaker (being an institute teacher and all). They seemed to have fun.

| I wish this were a little closer up. But it's cute. |
The next day was the annual Summers Christmas Party. I brought a salad that I made from a salad kit (still recovering). But no one has to know that it was so easy! ha ha! It was good to chat with some of Nate's family and the kids seemed to have lots of fun with their cousins. We barely saw them except when it was time to eat!
Saturday the 9th, we went to Bowman's to see Santa! Kylie didn't cry this time! We talked Santa up and she told us she wasn't going to cry and she kept her promise! She even walked up to him all by herself! We were proud of her and even the photographer commented about how brave she was for being so little. I need to scan in the pictures that the photographer took. But these are the ones we took. They are a bit blurry.
After Bowman's, we went to the Summers' to decorate gingerbread (actually graham cracker) houses. This is such a fun tradition and the kids really love it! Logan did his all by himself this year and I just helped Kylie by putting the frosting on.

| We put up the Christmas lights while Ethan was napping one day. I wasn't sure if I would be up to climbing ladders, but I was doing ok so I did it! Nate is afraid of heights so it is better if I get up on the ladder while he holds it. He also moves it around as needed. |
 |
| Logan has been such a good helper and has started making himself lunch sometimes if I am busy with Ethan! |
 |
| Logan made a "shirt" that Kylie is wearing out of some packaging. That boy can be pretty creative. |
 |
| My kiddos. Still can't believe I have 3! |
 |
| Logan must've taken this picture and gotten a finger in it or something. |
