Like I mentioned earlier, we had Ethan's birthday the Saturday after Halloween. It was monster themed. I just decorated the cake and cupcakes monstery and had lots of colors of balloons and things for decorations. And I gave out Monster beach balls for the party favors. All the Utah family was able to come except for the Collettes.
I didn't have any games planned so all the cousins just played in the basement. We had a little luncheon, did presents, then the cake smash. Once again, our child disappointed us with the cake smashing. I think he was overwhelmed by all the people watching him so he started getting nervous and cried. I had really thought he would get into it because chocolate is about all he will eat! He is such a picky eater!
After some people left, we tried again and he got a little more into it. He was just too overwhelmed being the center of attention.
