Later that afternoon, we put up the Christmas lights outside.
I finally finished taking the wallpaper border off of our laundry room walls. It was horribly difficult! Very stuck on. Now I have to do the mudroom. And I finally painted behind the stove. Maybe one day, the whole kitchen will be painted.
On Friday the 7th, we drove around to see Christmas lights. It always seems like the youngest child screams and cries the whole time we do this, but it is still fun to get into the Christmas spirit.
On Saturday we went to Bowman's Grocery store to see Santa! Kylie was brave this year and did a good job with Santa. Ethan, of course, screamed. I briefly tried to put him in Santa's lap, but he wasn't having it, so I quickly grabbed him.
We usually have a professional picture as well. Hopefully I can find it since it has been such a long time! Almost a year and a half!
That evening was our Ward Christmas Party. They had a nice dinner with Chicken cordon bleu and something like corn dogs for the kids. It was a more spiritual event with the Bishop speaking and one of the men in our ward sang a musical number.
Then Sunday was the Summers' side Christmas party. It was in a new building this year, the Keller Williams Realty building, which was much better. The building we were at before just didn't fit everyone. We had dinner with ham, potatoes, rolls, and sides and desserts that everyone pitched in with. I can't remember what I made. And Santa came! That was a fun surprise! He handed out Christmas oranges. I actually think it was the first time our kids had them. They liked them pretty well, but didn't want to eat them all. Tyler and Brent even came. I'm not sure I would have at that age if my parents weren't there. Unfortunately, Steven got sick and ended up throwing up, so the Gees had to leave in a bit of a hurry.
These are some other pictures from that week. I have been doing a neighborhood preschool with Kylie where the kids go to a different house once a week. So that means I'm usually in charge about once a month. I made these name folders to help the kids practice writing their names and I use them each time the kids come to our house. Kylie actually did the best at it!
Making stuff with boxes. We generally get a lot of boxes at Christmas time.
Cute bath pictures of Ethan. He is usually pretty happy in the bath!
Kylie sitting in a bin and Logan playing with Nate's old K'nex.

| More box fun. Logan made himself a chair. |

| Not exactly sure what's going on here. I'm assuming Logan is inside. |
