4th of July

This was Logan's second 4th of July. Of course it was a lot different this time! Since our baby is a whole year older and can participate in more. In the morning, we went to the North Canton City parade. It definitely had that small town parade feel with candy throwing and everything. Our primary was also in it so it was fun to see familiar faces. Logan just enjoyed people watching and trying to get away.

Then we went home and ate lunch and Logan had a nap. After that, we headed up to Akron to their Rib, White, and Blue fest. We ate some ribs (Logan loved the pulled pork and created quite the mess). We listened to a guy perform, singing and playing on his guitar. As it got more and more crowded, Logan started getting into more trouble (crawling up to random people and trying to take their stuff). So we decided to leave. We didn't think Logan would be able to stay up long enough to watch the fireworks anyway when he's used to going to bed around 6:30 or 7.

So we put Logan to bed and watched a movie. When the national firework show came on TV, we watched that. They were good, but nothing like seeing them in real life with the big booms.
Before the parade, there was some dancing music playing to keep the crowd entertained and Logan was getting really into it! He was dancing in his stroller almost the whole time we were walking to find a spot. But of course, when I get the camera out to video it, he doesn't perform quite as well.

All-in-all, it was a good day!
