Logan turned 15 months old on September 15th, 2013. He still weighs 22 pounds (according to our bathroom scale).
Logan was quiet in the kitchen so I went to check on him and he was stacking cans! I never even showed him how to do that! He's a smart boy!
Logan's vocabulary is growing like crazy! He learned that a lion says roar, a monkey says ah ah, and a doggy says ff ff. He also added the words bye bye (as in "Let's go bye bye" and just saying goodbye), shoes, kitty, (he also calls the groundhog in our backyard kitty), and go (as in "Where'd it go?" and "Let's go.") He can also point to his belly button when you ask him where it is and sometimes he will point to mine if I ask him where mine is.
At a nearby park. Look at that wild hair!
He got 4 more teeth, the incisors I think? Anyway, the sharp meat-eating teeth. So I think that means he has 16 teeth. People often comment on how many teeth he has and I always say he had most of them before he was 1! He was just early with that.
I made play doh one day. This was his first day playing with it. He only tried to eat it a few times, but he sure thought it was fun!
He still loves animals, being outside, and music. He is starting to watch other TV shows (besides Baby Einstein's) better. But he still normally won't sit through the whole thing. No matter what show is on though, when there is singing, he will start watching. His favorite shows are Clifford, Curious George, Super Why, and parts of Sesame Street. He always dances to the Super Why theme song. It's pretty cute!
I guess he decided his walking toys needed to be put away. But in our airplane bathroom?
He's been getting into climbing a lot. For that reason, I am glad he is a bit short and has short legs. It makes it harder to climb things. But he certainly knows how to climb up me when I'm sitting down! He certainly is a busy boy and always has to be doing something!
He's been really into shoes lately and one day wanted a different shoe on each foot! Silly boy!
Naps are actually getting better. He almost always sleeps for at least an hour and sometimes (very rarely) up to 2 hours! When that happens, I get so much done! However, he is starting to fight bedtime and naptime a little. He escapes often in the diaper changing and clothes changing phase and tries to hide in the closet, behind the rocking chair, or even down the hall if he is able to open the door! And it just cracks him up and makes me very tired. He will also keep reaching for books and trying to squirm out of my arms. We often end up reading 2 or 3 books before I put him down. He really loves books! Those seem to be the best toys right now for keeping him quiet in church (besides eating).
I guess he decided that the cans needed to be more easily reached by him
Logan is still the social butterfly and loves to entertain and is quite the little jokester. I swear his goal is to put a smile on the face of everyone he comes in contact with! He's pretty good at it! He makes me laugh everyday!
This video actually should've been posted on the last month, but I must've missed it.
He put oven mitts on both his hands! Kind of like a puppet. So funny!
