Brandywine Falls

The Saturday after the Law School Halloween party (October 19), we went to Brandywine Falls in the Cuyahoga National Park with our friends, the Duers. They have a little boy a little less than a year older than Logan so Angelique and I get together sometimes. But this time we also included our hubbies. It was just a short little hike on kind of a boardwalk thing with lots of stairs, which Logan loves. It was the perfect length for these little guys and they seemed to enjoy it. And the waterfall was quite big and beautiful! We were hoping for some fall colors but I think we were a little late. Most of the leaves were on the ground. But it was fun anyway. It was a short outing, but we were able to get a family picture that will probably go on the Christmas card since I don't have anything better this year! And I guess I never actually got a picture of the Duers. Oh well.

A woolly bear caterpillar. Supposedly the length of the brown stripe in the middle tells how mild the winter will be. The longer the middle, the more mild the winter. So I guess this year shouldn't be too bad:)

For some reason blogger decided to flip this picture and I don't know how to fix it
