5 Months Old!

August 9th, my baby turned 5 months old! She can sit up in the boppy for short periods of time, but not by herself yet.

As a side note, she really looks like me in this picture, just has a bit more chub in the cheeks

She is still a great sleeper at home, but church is really getting difficult. She does not like to be held while she sleeps. She just wants to be left alone to sleep. So she really fights going to sleep at church. And sometimes she cries so hard and loud that we have to go outside and walk the sidewalks. This seems to help too because she has to close her eyes because of the bright sun so it helps her go to sleep. But we certainly are hearing less church with her than with Logan. So I guess being such an awesome sleeper has its ups and downs. She still takes 3 naps a day. I'm seriously in love with that. She will still sometimes wake up once during the night for a bottle, but it's not every night.

She can hold her own bottle! Not for long periods of time, but it's sure nice!

She really enjoys just playing with her toys and is usually quite content. She enjoys playing with her toes and trying to take her socks off. She is already starting to make consonant sounds like ma ma and da da, but she certainly doesn't attach them to us, her parents. Her hair is getting long and I'm thinking I'm going to need to trim it soon, just to even it up. She still has her gorgeous eyelashes and people still comment on how beautiful she is.
