August & September Review

I got an ulcer, but I caught it early and was able to get rid of it by just taking some antacids for a few weeks.

My mom came a couple of times for a day to help me out because I just still hadn't been feeling well. I was feeling lightheaded almost all the time, extremely tired, and a bit overwhelmed with taking care of 2 kids and a much bigger house than I had ever taken care of before. It was very helpful to have her here to help out and allow me to take a nap.And Logan always loves having Grandma Davis to play with him.

Logan spilled hand sanitizer all over our coffee table. It ate away a lot of the finish so it looks cloudy now. Luckily it was pretty cheap. I feel like you probably shouldn't buy nice furniture until your kids are a little older because they just ruin it anyway!

We went bowling at Boondocks. Unfortunately, I didn't think of taking any pictures. But Logan loved it and talked about going bowling for a while afterward. He did a good job. All of the ramps seemed to have been taken, so we would just put the ball down in front of him and then help him push it down the lane. Kylie, obviously, did not bowl and spent the time being traded on who was holding her.

This actually happened in July. It was one of those days when I was just tired and not feeling well. I didn't know what Logan was doing in the kitchen but I just didn't care because for once, he was playing by himself. A little while later he comes in, "Look mommy, snow man hands!" Oh boy! I had images of spilled flour everywhere. But it turns out, he was just trying to pour the flour into the sugar. I had to throw out the mixed stuff but luckily my sugar is really hard, so it didn't all mix together. The clean up wasn't awful and my son had been playing by himself. Totally worth it for me! Ha ha!
