Fun at the Cabin!

My Aunt Doralyn invites all of her sisters and their daughters and their daughters to her cabin every year to do crafting. It's tight, but it's also way fun. I feel like I actually talk a bit to some cousins that I normally wouldn't talk to. And all of my sisters came, so that was also a blast! Most women do some sort of scrapbooking. For us mothers, it gives us a chance to try to catch up on things we have had on our to-do list all year! I used the time this year to make some play food for Logan for Christmas and some liners for some boxes to put our shoes in for our mud room. I had Kylie with me but left Logan home with Nate.

We went up Friday morning and came back on Saturday. Cindy watched Logan on Friday until Nate came home. While we were gone, Logan and Nate had fun going to a park, Wendys, and riding the train to SLC and back. It sounded like Logan had a blast with daddy!

Kylie really struggled going to bed at night. She was screaming and screaming. She woke up one of the other babies, which I felt bad about. My mom was worried because she never did the cry out method so I went down and laid in my bed while she laid in hers, but she was still crying on and off and just wasn't going to sleep so I finally left. Of course, she cried so my mom went and got her out. So Kylie was up way late and then when I did have to put her back to bed, she was screaming again. So I had to stay down there with her and I just decided to go to bed too. The only way I could get her calm enough to go to sleep was to have her lay down next to me in bed. After waiting a long time so I knew she was fully asleep, I transferred her to her bed and luckily she drifted right back to sleep. It was not fun! And then she woke up once during the night but I was able to calm her quickly. I shared with Angie, but she seemed to sleep through it fine so that was good. I was also up early with her. So I didn't get much sleep that weekend, but at least I was able to get some stuff done. And we got her pictures done. Other than that night, she was really good and was just happy to play by me in her bumbo.

 There was a whole family of moose out in the backyard! A bull, a cow, a teenage bull, and a baby. We were all really excited and took way too many pictures. But it's not everyday you get to see moose! We just had to make sure they were gone before doing Kylie's pictures!
