Another day, Logan painted one of the little pumpkins we bought. We had a lot of fun doing it. He painted so much it ended up looking mostly black.
Nate and I were able to go to a BYU football game. It was against Wagner so we absolutely squashed them, but it was still fun. I didn't expect it to be so warm and we got burned! Who would've thought that you could get sunburned in October? I swear, only in Utah.
We had been wanting to go on a little family hike for awhile and decided we better do it before it gets too cold. We just went to a place up near the Ogden Dinosaur Museum. It's known for being able to see a lot of birds, so we thought Logan would enjoy that. And he did! We did get to see quite a few birds. The only unfortunate thing was that it was really windy and the wind was cold! We weren't prepared for that because it was really warm at house. So we didn't have any jackets. We let Logan wrap himself in the blanket we keep in the car. But the hike was just the right length and it had a pretty view so it was fun.
And of course, we had to carve pumpkins. We just carved one family one.
