Live Nativity

Missy invited us to go to a live nativity near their house. We wanted to go last year, but my grandma passed away at the time we had tickets so we had to skip it. Obviously, spending time with family during that time was more important. So this year we decided to check it out. My parent's came as well as the Hancocks and Collettes. The Collettes really flew through everything though, I think because it was so cold.  Kylie was definitely done when it was over because it was late and cold.

They had animals like camels, donkeys, and rabbits. Roman soldiers were walking around. They also had a whole scene of what Bethlehem could've looked like with people "selling" their goods and wares and they allowed the kids to try some things out like hammering into leather and measuring with a scale. The best part was definitely the scene with the holy family though. They were in a barn all by themselves (which was heated) with a new baby. There was a reverent atmosphere there whereas the rest of the tour was a bit chaotic. It just made you think about that special night. At the end, we were able to get some hot chocolate. Then we went to Missy's house and ate some pizza. It was fun, despite the cold.
