This month was full of firsts for her. She finally got her first tooth! It was one of the bottom middle ones. She was pretty cranky for a few days before it finally popped through. She's likes everyone to know when she's not happy and not feeling good.
First time sitting in a high chair at a restaurant. We went to Pizza Pie Cafe. Logan's favorite place.
First time sitting in a cart. We were lucky and got one of the fun ones at Target. She was so much happier shopping that day! Usually she screams a lot in annoyance and I shove puffs into her mouth to keep her semi quiet. But she loved this cart!
Kylie feeding herself and doing her rocking. She rocks a lot and really hard!
She is still taking 3 naps a day. I'm shocked by this. She always wants to go back to sleep after being awake for 2 hours. Church is still rough since she does not want to fall asleep in our arms but we can usually still get her to sleep for a little bit. She still sucks her thumb when she sleeps and that's how I know she's getting tired. She seems to always want her bright pink blanket owl when she sleeps. She has become quite attached to it. However, she has started to cry sometimes when we put her to bed or she might wake up in the middle of the night crying. In the night, I can usually just rock her for a minute and she calms right down and is ready to be put back to bed. But during the day, I just have to leave her until she falls asleep.
She still loves to eat and I'm amazed at what she can gum down. Logan started getting teeth at 4 months and I think she eats about the same things as he did.
Logan likes to help her out by giving her toys. This time he went a bit overboard! They are on his bed with all of his stuffed animals! They are cute though and thought it was so funny!
Gotta have a bath picture at some point. I just love her rolls! She is taking so long to crawl that she just keeps getting chubbier.
She is still content just to sit and play. If a toy is out of her reach (and she can reach really far), she just forgets about it and plays with something closer. She isn't very motivated to move. I'm ok with that though. I'm in no rush to be chasing a toddler again.
She's a doll!
