November Fun & Thanksgiving

We went to the mall one day just to entertain Logan. With the weather getting colder, I'm a bit nervous about how to pass our days since Logan can get a little crazy when he's been cooped up too long. In the summer, we go to parks or just play outside, but we just can't do that when it's cold. So we went to the mall because they have a little playground area for the kids. They were getting ready for Christmas and they had the train going. It was actually the first day the train was going and Logan wanted to go. I told him this would be the only time we would and he was ok with that. So I actually paid for something and we did have fun. The pictures are awful because we were moving on the train and the kids were moving because they were excited and it was just my phone.

We went to the mall another time as a family to get Nate some pants and so Logan could play at the playground. In the winter, we actually went to the mall almost weekly.

Thanksgiving was spent with Nate's family this year. I made a pie and a salad. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. We had all of the Utah families plus Tyler, because he has been working in Utah this year with his uncle from his other side. Aaron Cederlof (Nate's brother) also came. He says he feels more comfortable around our family than his. We had a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal and then we played games afterwards. It was a nice day. Pretty relaxing. I did actually go out shopping that night to Shopko because they had some good deals on a few toys I wanted. I was able to get all of the niece and nephew toys I needed with that one stop, so that was nice. And it was actually quite enjoyable for me. It wasn't crazy and there were plenty of helpful workers. Of course, it probably helped that I was shopping without the kids. That always makes things less stressful.

On Friday, we went to Tooele to see my parents. We were the only ones there so it was calm. We played games with my parents and watched a Star Wars movie in preparation for the new one coming out soon. We had to fast forward some parts that were too scary for Logan though. The kids enjoyed being with Grandma and Grandpa Davis.
