Annalisa's birthday was before Kylie's and they invited the Utah families to go to McDonalds for dinner, then to Grandma and Grandpa's house afterward for cake/ice cream and presents. Obviously Anna chose the restaurant. The food wasn't great but the playplace was big and the kids loved that. So much so that Kylie wouldn't come down from the it so Steven had to go up and get her. Thank goodness for older cousins!
We are pregnant! I haven't had the first doctor appointment yet and I am so bad at keeping track of things that I am not sure when the due date is. And we are lucky and seem to get pregnant really easily so I wasn't expecting it quite yet. But it will be sometime in the Fall. But we just found out and are very excited!
Logan had a field trip to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden and it happened to be on the same day that my class was going on a field trip. And since I went on the field trip in the fall, Lindy went on this field trip. So I was able to go with Logan on a field trip! We had a fun time. At first, we hung out with Alexis quite a bit, but eventually we separated and we stayed there longer than anyone else from his preschool. I figured we might as well make the most of it since we did have to pay money to get it. And he and Kylie were having a blast!

We did have a bit of a scare. Nate was feeling quite sick for almost a whole week with stomach pains so he didn't go into work much for a week. And one night, his chest was tightening and it kept getting worse until one of his arms started going numb. We were about to go to bed, but Nate just felt like he shouldn't fall asleep and he was looking really pale. So instead we called Nate's parents to come over and stay with the sleeping kids while I took Nate to the ER. We were worried he was having a heart attack. Since we have been to an ER before, I was expecting it to take forever. But apparently if you have signs of a heart attack and not just bleeding profusely from the nose, they take more action. So right away, he was admitted and tests were done that revealed it was not a heart attack. The ER doctor said it might be inflammation of the chest and gave him a prescription. So Nate tried that for a couple of weeks and it just wasn't helping much. He wasn't numb and pale again, but he still had stomach pains, especially after eating So he talked to other people and they said acid reflex can sometimes feel like that, so Nate thought maybe it was acid reflex. So he went to a doctor and told him his symptoms and he said that it could be that so they switched medications. Anyway, more on all of that later.
My second graders had their program. They have been practicing for it when Lindy was there and the program happened on a Friday that I didn't work. But I took the kids with me and went to the program. They did a great job and it was fun to watch them sing and hold their little signs. I was very proud! And my kids (at least Logan), really enjoyed being a part of a fun school activity.

Aunt Angie gave Kylie some princess things for her birthday. She loves them!
The kids love playing in the creek by our house. Especially just throwing sticks in.
