| About to head out to watch fireworks |
Logan's first holiday. Since he was only about 3 weeks old on the 4th of July, we really didn't do much. We did go to Bob Evans for dinner and in the evening, we parked in a parking lot to watch some fireworks. It was an incredibly hot and humid day and poor Logan was just sweating. I fed him a cold bottle and tried to fan him with a paper fan I made. I tried to put a cool, wet, burp cloth on him as well, but he didn't like that, And the fireworks started later than we had expected. There were some fireworks here and there and we worried that that was all they were going to be, so we were just about to go (I was getting Logan in his carseat), when they finally started for real. So we stayed and watched them. Somehow Logan fell asleep even with those loud fireworks. It turned out to be a good show and I am glad we went so it felt like we actually celebrated.

All of the following pictures are of us trying to get a family picture.
Nate was holding Logan, I was holding the camera, and it was not working |

Poor little guy. It looks like we're torturing him!
We finally gave up |
