Christmas Vacation at the Summers' Part 2

After the fun with my family, we went back to spend the rest of the vacation with Nate's parents. They always do tours at the LDS Conference Center on Fridays, so we did end up spending most of the day with my family. However, we met up with his parents for dinner at the Kyoto in Salt Lake, an authentic Japanese restaurant. We have gone there a couple of times before since Nate went on his mission to Japan. It was delicious, as usual. After that we drove to their place and put Logan to bed.

I thought it was pretty cute.
Saturday was just a chill day hanging out with the Gees and Cederlofs and Sunday we went to church. On Monday we went to Grandma Hill's again and ate some lunch with her. On Tuesday Nate and I went to the Bountiful Temple and left Logan with Nancy. We hadn't been to the temple since Logan was born so it was really nice to go. It's just hard with how far away it is and not having family to leave him with for a whole day. On Wednesday we were going to go to Scheels (a store that has a Ferris Wheel inside it) but Nate and Steve were sick so we decided to stay in. It was really cold anyway and the inversion was making the air pretty nasty. So I didn't mind keeping Logan inside, even though I'm sure we wouldn't have been out in it for too long so it wouldn't have been a big deal. But it was fine. We also went to see the Cederlof's house. Last year, they had just barely bought it and hadn't moved in yet so it was fun to see the changes they had done to personalize it. It was a foreclosure so there was some work that needed to be done. Thursday was our day to head back, bright and early.

It was sad to leave everyone, but at the same time, it was nice to get back to a schedule for Logan. However, going on that vacation really made us feel like we wanted to go back to Utah to settle down, or at least somewhere in the west. It was just so nice to be near family.
