Nate's Birthday!

January 20th was Nate's 29th birthday. 29! He's getting so close to 30, it's crazy! And that means I'm just 2 years behind! Are we really that old?

Anyway, Nate's birthday was actually on a Sunday so we went out to dinner on Saturday. I tried to get a babysitter beforehand, but couldn't so we had to bring Logan along. We went to Red Lobster (Nate never gets seafood because I don't like it and will never cook it). It was actually really good! I got some sort of chicken, I can't remember what it was now, but it was so good. Nate got a couple different kinds of shrimp. Logan enjoyed looking at everyone and eating bits of the cheddar cheese biscuits. He did get fussy at the end because it was getting late. We had to wait a really long time for a table beforehand, probably because we got there later than we had planned. We went to Target earlier to spend Nate's birthday money so he got the game Stratego and something else that I don't remember now. That night we watched a Redbox movie. On his actual birthday, I made him Lasagna and the famous chocolate syrup cake. It was really low key, but I think he enjoyed it.
