Logan is 7 Months!

Rollin', rollin', rollin'
On January 15th, 2013, Logan turned 7 months old! (I'm obviously behind)
His stats were:
Weight: 18 lbs 2 oz - 50th percentile
Height: 26 1/4 in long - 25th percentile
Head: 25th percentile
So he's chubby, which I love! I always wanted a chubby baby but didn't think I would get one since I was such a small baby. But Logan definitely takes after Nate more than me!

I don't have a lot of pictures in this post because most of his 6th month was spent in Utah, so there are lots of pictures, but I already posted them! However, there are some videos that I haven't posted yet.

This is a video taken at the Davis' during Christmas time. I just thought
it was cute how he was playing with this with Nate.

I believe he had 5 teeth at this time, his 5th tooth came right around the time of his 7 month birthday. We started giving Logan some table foods like Cheerios, puffs, bread, and mashed potatoes. It took some practice for him to get them in his mouth and I would often put a few in his mouth for him to help him understand what he needed to do, but after a few weeks, he was a pro and liked feeding himself more than being spoon fed. He likes everything except green beans and he only tolerates peas.

Logan moved around a lot! He rolled all over the place and could pretty much get to where he wanted to be just by rolling. He could also slide himself backwards. However, he didn't know how to move forward. He would get on his hands and knees, rock back and forth, then flop in the exact same place or backwards. It's funny though because now he prefers to be on his tummy rather than his back or sitting up. I guess he likes that freedom of being mobile! We had to do some baby proofing (like getting a bin for Nate's books that we used have just laying under the coffee table) and we bought a gate for stairs just so we're prepared for the time when he starts crawling and climbing.

Logan started having only 2 naps a day and he was finally having longer naps! Wahoo! They almost always lasted for at least an hour. It's amazing how much more I can get done when he sleeps longer! However, since he's only having 2 naps, I often put him to bed even earlier. So he's often in bed by 6 or 6:30. He would still wake up once at night to eat. But it's been nice now that he can roll over so easily. He sleeps better because he can get himself into a comfortable position (even though they often don't look comfortable to me! All squished up in the corner of the crib!). He actually usually sleeps on his side.

Logan is such a good baby. He pretty much only cried (sometimes) when trying to go to sleep. He'll just make complaining noises when he's hungry or tired or wants some attention, but doesn't cry. Most of the time, he is happy to play by himself. Especially since he moves around and has all these fun toys from Christmas! Of course, he loves it when Mommy or Daddy play with him. Especially Daddy because he's more fun!
