Can time just slow down? He'll be going to nursery before we know it! Of course, Nate is excited for that day.

This month, Logan added the words "Uh-oh" and "Boo" (Bo) to the list. He absolutely loves playing peek-a-boo, when he is the one doing it. And anytime we put his shirt on, he says "Bo!" Probably because I often do that to help making the clothes changing experience more enjoyable. I think he's up to about 12 words? But he's not very consistent about saying them. He goes on spurts of saying certain words a lot and then he stops. He never says mommy anymore. Only daddy and he calls us both that. Oh well. He's also really good at waving hello and goodbye to people now. And...the cutest thing ever! He will blow kisses now when it's time for him to go "night-night" or when saying goodbye. I love it! He will kiss his hand (or the toy in his hand if it's not empty). So cute!

| Just being silly |
I can tell that Logan understands so much more. I can say something like, "Let's read a story" and he'll come to me and sit in my lap, or "We're going bye-bye" and he comes to me so I can pick him up to take him outside, or "Go get your bunny" and he finds his bunny and snuggles, and many more. It's really fun! Only I do have to be a little more careful about what I say because if I say we're going to go outside, but I mean a bit later, he gets all excited and then very sad if I'm suddenly taking him upstairs to change his diaper or something.
Which brings me to something else, Logan is an outside baby. He loves being outside! He would live outside if he could. I can't leave the door open for a second because he will make a beeline for it and then cries when I shut it. We try to spend sometime every morning and afternoon (weather permitting) outside whether it is on a walk, at a playground, swimming, or wandering in our "backyard" or "frontyard." I don't know what I'll do when winter hits.

Playing at the mall on a rainy day There was a kid who was going from ride to ride and got out before they were finished. I cashed in on one of them and put Logan in the ride before it stopped moving. I think he had just as much fun when it was still. |
He is officially down to one nap a day (which usually only lasts 45 min to an hour). I don't put him down at all in the mornings, I just turn on Baby Einsteins so I can shower and get ready. He often ends up coming upstairs before I'm completely done so he plays in my make-up bag, just taking things out and putting them back in. I have significantly less "me" time, but at least he goes to bed by 7.

Logan has joined us at the table for meals. We bought our high chair used and it never had a strap so he kept trying to climb out of it and thought it was just the funniest thing. So I got really tired of always pushing him back into his chair while trying to eat so I went out and bought a booster that has a 3 point strap (because he can wriggle out of the straps on grocery carts and in restaurant chairs). He has really loved being at the table with us and feeling so big. And since he is at the table, he is also eating out of dishes now. And when he is done, he insists on clearing his plate off and putting it in the sink! What a great helper! I love it! I didn't even have to teach him! He also loves throwing things away (and it's not always garbage) so we had to put our trash can a bit higher (just on a box) so something important doesn't end up in the trash. Even though he did throw his toothbrush into the diaper pail. Yuck, I'm not getting that out!

Logan is a jokester. He loves to make people smile and laugh wherever we go. He certainly enjoys life to the fullest! I love this cutie!
