Quiet Book

I finished my quiet book a little while back so I figured I should post some pictures of the pages. Logan already really enjoys some of the pages and consequently, we have already lost one of the road signs on the road/car page. It's missing in these pictures. Most of the templates I used were from this blog: http://www.serving-pink-lemonade.com/2011/01/quiet-book-templates.html?m=1~ but I got some ideas from other pages and made some of my own patterns. Whenever I got the chance, I went over to my friend Angelique's house to use her sewing machine on the more difficult pages. It was so nice of her! She would entertain Logan and her son while I sewed. She also made some quiet books for her son but hers have way more detail! I kept mine as simple as possible!

No, I'm not going to make a different quiet book for each child, but I will make another name page
and add it in (unless the rest of our kids are girls because I want to make one geared more for girls
when/if the time comes).

The tree has all the seasons, so you can change them and the grass is the pocket.
The barn has finger puppets inside. These are Logan's favorite!

Logan just likes to take the signs off and hand them to me or Nate (or drop them)

So there it is! I am also going to make a religious one. I found patterns that are exactly the same as my mom's that I grew up playing! But it might not be for awhile until I do that. I'm pretty proud of it, despite its simpleness!
