Easter!

Saturday (the day before Easter), we had an Easter egg hunt at the Summers' house. The kids were able to get quite a bit of candy and Nancy always does dollar store prizes as well. One for each of them. Logan got a type of frisbee and Kylie got bubbles.

After the egg hunt, we went to Pizza Pie Cafe to celebrate Summer's birthday. That's always a great place to go for both kids and adults. The only problem is that when the cousins get together, they can get a bit silly and loud so we just hope we aren't being to obnoxious to others in the restaurant. We do usually sit in the back room where not as many people sit.

On Easter Sunday, we got the kids up a bit early to find their baskets. They each got a pair of pjs with some candy and fun snacks/treats in their baskets. For some reason, our kids always need pjs more than Sunday clothes. Then we went to church and then went to the Summers' to eat a yummy Easter meal. I can't remember what I contributed to the meal, but we had the traditional ham.

I'm not sure what this is, but the date says it was from Easter Day.
In Young Women's, I did a lesson that was almost completely a Powerpoint. There were short video clips and scriptures with questions for them to answer and some music in the background. I hope that it was a good experience for them, but it is hard to tell when it is all just personal without any sharing. The idea was given to me by one of my counselors but I'm not sure I will do it again just because I couldn't gauge their thoughts. Maybe it's the teacher in me, always needing to check for understanding. Ha ha!
