The Rest of Angie's Time

Angie stayed for about a week at the beginning of August and one of the nights, the men in the group went to see one of the Mission: Impossibles. So it was all in-laws and JJ. Nate enjoyed having some "man" time.

Logan had swimming lessons in the morning, so we would head down to Utah county after it so the kids could play. One of the days we went to the children's museum at Thanksgiving Point. My 2nd grade class had gone there on a field trip and I kept thinking how my kids would love it so I was glad we were able to go. Ethan LOVED the baby water table, but he got soaked! I saw that other parents were more prepared than me and had brought an extra change of clothes for their babies. Instead, Ethan was just wet. We did go to the outside play area at the end so he was able to dry off a bit then.

That weekend, we all camped in JJ's huge backyard. Right before that, we did family pictures at a park nearby where Missy has taken pictures before. It went well. It was hot and Logan knelt in an ant hill during one of the pictures (we didn't realize it at first). He still smiled cute! But Missy was fast and got some good ones! I will post some of those next.

Back to camping. We were excited to try out our new tent that is big enough for a pack n play and to do a trial run. We would really like to be a camping family, but we just haven't dared try yet! We had a fun time eating hot dogs, hobo dinners, and smores. However, that's where the fun stopped for us. I forgot PJs and extra formula for Ethan (and he needed another pair anyway), so I had to run to Wal-mart. While I was gone, Kylie had a pooping accident. So Nate had to get her cleaned up. He was very frustrated. She's been potty trained for 3 months! Why is she still having pooping accidents sometimes? So both of us missed the games (Slam-disc). Then Ethan would not settle down for the night and sleep. He was keeping all the kids up in the camp. We finally decided to put him in JJ's guest house and I slept in there with him. He did finally sleep, but he woke up a time or 2 during the night so it was not fun. He is such a bad sleeper.
